Ringsted-Nykøbing Falster

The stretch between Ringsted and Nykøbing Falster is being expanded with a new double track and the speed is to be upgraded with the implementation of a new signalling system in 2021 (excluding the Storstrøm bridge, for which the Danish Road Directorate is the developer).

Electrification

Next, the Storstrøm bridge is completed and the stretch is electrified. At the latest, all works on the stretch will be completed in 2024.

Nykøbing Falster and Holeby

Between Nykøbing Falster and Holeby, the building works will be adapted to the opening of the future permanent tunnel link over the Fehmarn Belt. The final schedule is not yet known. However, the bridge work on intersecting roads is being implemented with completion in 2018.
